Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology Neuchâtel (CSEM)

The CSEM is a private company operating above all in the fields of microtechnology, microelectronics and information systems. The CSEM develops and exploits technologies which are researched in collaboration with government departments, universities and industrial partners. The CSEM has its headquarters in Neuchâtel. Microoptic research is based in Zürich. The CSEM currently employs about 350 people. In 1999, the earnings of CSEM amounted to 65 million Swiss francs.
